Vino Cotto literally means cooked wine.  It is made from 100% Montepulcianno d’Abruzzo and aged in small barrels.  With a gorgeous caramel red colour, this is a dessert wine full of flavours of prunes, honey, dried dates and figs with a hint of cinnamon. Great with Cantuccini biscuits and Christmas pudding!
